Welcome to Da Kine Hawaiian! We are a locally owned business, rooted in Hawaii since 2007. Da Kine Hawaiian brings a special brand of gourmet condiments heavily inspired by the unique flavors of local Hawaiian cuisine, a cuisine that this family was practically raised on.
When we began the journey to introduce Da Kine Hawaiian to the world in 2007, it felt like chasing a dream. It took us years of dedication and care before our products truly embodied the flavors that we love today. It all started with our Original BBQ Sauce made with Pineapple juice and no HFCS (high fructose corn syrup). In the early days, we would have tons of backyard BBQs with our ohana, friends, and neighbors, tasting and tweaking the sauces as we went. Lots of good times and memories were had! Since then we have added a line of products that include rubs/seasonings, hot sauces, barbecue sauces, dressing, syrups, coffees, and pancake mixes.
Our brand strives to offer healthier alternatives with low sodium, no MSG, gluten-free seasonings, and no HFCS BBQ sauces and syrps. Crafted to meet the current taste trends, everyone can enjoy them in everyday cooking and grilling.
Pronounced “duh kyne” and commonly used in local Hawaiian speech, the meaning of “Da Kine” is used to describe anything you want. In popular culture, it is frequently associated with something good or genuine – “the best” for example as a company name. We like the sound of that.
